Client: Hansen Yuncken
Serviced Provided: Provided a one-off scaffold to surround the structure
Description: AIS was invited by Hansen Yuncken to resolve the challenge provided by the Commonwealth Law Courts Opal buildings unusual shape and the inability of conventional scaffolding to operate effectively or within cost parameters. Utilising advanced CAD software AIS designed a scaffold structure that hung suspended from the wall, not only solving the original problem, but also allowing work to continue underneath it as well.
The structure was designed to comply with the scaffold design code. Created 3 bays wide, the tapered rectangular arrangement when finished and in place provided 9 working platforms and was nearly half the cost of a conventional scaffold.
